Preston Schnoor is an independent filmmaker based in Norman, Oklahoma and San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Iowa, where he spent his childhood watching and making movies with friends, which catalyzed his passion for filmmaking.
After years of experimenting with videography and making music videos as a teen, Preston got his start in film as a Production Assistant on People Walk Dogs Late at Night in the Suburbs, observing the roles of a professional set. Inspired by the project, he wrote and directed Dig Two Graves, a thriller short film that went on to win awards at festivals. Through his work, he has frequently handled all aspects of production.
He has written, directed, edited, and worked on dozens of short films, showcasing his versatility across all areas of production. Some of his films are currently in production, while others are making their way through the festival circuit as he develops his debut future film. Preston is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Film at the University of Oklahoma, with plans to graduate in 2028.
